Tirta Gangga
Tirta Gangga is situated at Ababi village, Abang District, in eastern Bali. It is about 83 km from Denpasar and 6 km from Amlapura to the north. Tirta Gangga is a veritable water playground designed by 6 princess in the Royal Family of Karangasem Ida Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem as a resting place. The beginning there was a giant water source with very clear and clean water when the King was inspired to make a water park. At the middle of the water palace had a shape structure similar like a monument of water sporut, that completed by Balinese carving.
Tirta Gangga, formerly a Royal Water Palace Karangasem. Tirta Gangga or Royal Water Palace was built in 1948.
Currently Tirta Gangga or Royal Water Palace serves as a tourist spot in east Bali. The majority of tourists who vacation in Karangasem Tirta Gangga park are foreign tourists.
The area of the watergarden is about 1.2 ha (3 acres), consisting of three levels of ground stretching from east to west.
At the east part of water palace there is a pool that completed by manu clupture that taken from the role play uppet story and mani giant golden fish as a special attraction to the visitors. At the south pool there is abridge with avery unique design and architecture and at the west, there are two separate pool where villagers or visitors able to use them to take bath or swimming otn this place. The water is clean and cold, its naturally come from the hills arround the area, giving a different senation to the visitors.
